2015 was a frustrating year for us in many ways. Steve was inundated with school work, while I spent most of the year plagued with injuries and illnesses, and so exhausted from work that I had no energy for anything else. I can’t say that I am sorry to say good-bye to 2015, but there were some wonderful moments that shine in my memory and bring a smile to my face. Here are some of my favorites from 2015:
The Zoo Run Run, a 5K run through the Nashville Zoo. Big cats, kangaroos, and firefoxes, oh my!
Back-to-back ice storms kept me working from home for a week, which I loved.
I learned how to make my own soap, and we haven’t bought soap in the store since.
I got my first Passion Planner, and it changed my life.
We discovered thrift stores! Simon enjoys our new super-awesome bath rug.
The view of spring from my office window.
Running in Old Hickory Village.
A Mother’s Day run with my beautiful daughter.
The Great Coat Closet Remodel Project – not yet complete, but progress being made.
Rush in concert! Undoubtedly the most memorable moment of the whole year!
My whole family discovered trail running.
I received a Leibster Award for my blog. Thank you again for the nomination, Angela!
Afternoon sunshine.
Pluto loves us!
Shadow of a sweet kitty.
A nighttime run in the village.
Early morning cross county meets with my daughter.
One of the many beautiful sunsets that I saw during my runs.
Fifi, wrapped for Christmas!
Isabella and Colonel Tiger enjoying the Christmas Candlelight.
